 Production Superintendent

We are on the lookout for a performance-driven people leader!

Position Overview

Your values based leadership style will be integral to the delivery of a culture consistent with the Nyrstar Way. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team, directly responsible for one of the production departments on the Hobart site.   You will play a vital role in driving systemic improvements in department performance, including workplace health and safety, production and cost management.

As a driven leader who thrives in a fast paced, high energy environment, your drive for results and accountability will be vital to supporting fundamental business objectives. You will provide strategic and tactical direction for the Department and establish and implement constructive intra and inter-department communications. Your commitment on setting high performance standards will be integral to lead the department through a cultural improvement journey.


To be considered for this role, you will possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering/science discipline and/or extensive practical experience in a leadership role in a relevant industry. You will have worked in a senior people management role and have the ability to manage in a fast changing environment.
